10th CATE Exploratory
9th grade students apply for a one-credit program where they will cycle through six programs during the school year. Students must apply with their high school Career Specialist to determine career area.
ACCTC Program Applications
Applications must be submitted for any career program including. Any student applying for Cosmetology or Health Science must submit this application in the Spring of 9th grade. All other programs, students should submit this application in the Spring of the 10th grade. Nail Technology is a one year program so a student can apply in either the 10th or 11th grade year. Applications are due to your Career Specialist/Guidance Office at the high school.
College Entrance Testing
Most 4-year colleges will take either ACT or SAT for entrance. Technical schools offer the COMPASS for entrance. See the links to the right for study guides or registration for each test. Contact your Guidance Counselor for which test is best for you. Sophomore scores on PSAT and PLAN will be reviewed along with fee waivers if needed.
Scholarships are available in the Guidance Office. Feel free to come by and pick up any that apply to your program or qualifications. They will be updated monthly and must be returned a week before the deadline. Mrs. Crow will check and attach any school information. Make sure any recommendations are attached from instructor or outside agency.
Students can view programs in rotation throughout the 10th grade in Engineering and Manufacturing and Health Science and Human Services.

Scholarships available in Guidance and online will be announced to students and posted monthly.
